Mother Teresa meets Martin Luther King, Jr at The Invitation

Imagine if 8 historical Nobel Laureates gathered together, what would they say to each other?  In this amazing play, The Invitation, 8 Nobel Laureates have a conversation about peace.  All dialogue is taken from their actual speeches and books.

We hope to inspire children to want to act as these laureates in the future.

This month marks the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Teresa and Albert Schweitzer receiving the Nobel Peace Prize for their work to bring about a more peaceful society.

Learn from these notable people as they come together with other Nobel Peace Prize Laureates -- Martin Luther King, Albert Schweitzer, Linus Pauling, Betty Williams, Mother Teresa, Alva Myrdal, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and Shirin Ebadi -- in the educational and inspirational play The Invitation.

Feel their presence and power come to life on stage as they come together across time and space to meet, weaving together the words of their Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speeches in their discussion of peacemaking.

There are two performances of this original production: the first is Friday, November 8th at 7:00 pm at the 19th Century Charitable Association 178 Forest Avenue, Oak Park, Illinois 60301.
