OPRFHS, Fenwick Top Football Schools in Illinois: USA Today
Oak Park and River Forest High School No. 68 for football in Illinois, according to a USA Today ranking.
USA Today High School Sports has named Oak Park and River Forest High School one of the top 100 football schools in Illinois in its recent ranking of the top schools in the nation.
OPRF was No. 68, behind Proviso West High School and ahead of Simeon High School. Fenwick was No. 79. Mount Carmel High School in Chicago topped the list.
The IHSA released OPRF's 2013 football schedule, and it begins at home Aug. 31 against Fenger, a 1-7 team in 2012.
Fenwick begins its season at home Aug. 31 against St. Joseph, a 1-8 team in 2012.
