Online might be the best way to market a business, but the old sandwich board still has lots of power.
Walking down Lake Street the other day I passed Wells Street Popcorn, and its sandwich board read, "Yes, we actually have bacon popcorn."
Bacon! Popcorn! Bacon popcorn. I couldn't resist.
I stopped in, bought a small bag and really enjoyed it. The options were bacon caramel and bacon cheddar, and I went with the cheddar. I liked it because it largely tasted like cheesy popcorn; the bacon flavor wasn't overwhelming, but still noticeable enough to make it unique.
