The idea for "King's Kloset" came to be after my son King outgrew his clothes without getting any real wear. I was stuck with designer pieces that were too small. I figured that there were other mothers out there going through the same thing.

Why did you choose the area you did?

The Oak Park Arts District is very artistic and full of life. It is the perfect destination to find that special gift that you may not find anywhere else. It was the perfect place to try out my children's consignment idea.

What does your business offer?

King's Kloset specializes in new and consigned children's clothes, shoes and accessories.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

We are accepting upscale items for consignment. We are looking for those great brands in clothing that your child can no longer fit.

What's your most popular product or service?

Our most popular product is our legwarmers, shoe wings and custom bows and bow ties. They make perfect gifts for that special child.
