Buzz Cafe, Gepetto's Toy Box Nominated for 'Totally Awesome' Awards
The family-focused publication Red Tricycle is honoring the best in Chicago for parents and families.
Red Tricycle, a family-focused publication in eight major U.S. markets, is seeking the best places for kids and families, and a handful of local places are among the Chicago-area nominations.
The "Totally Awesome Awards" lets parents nominate and vote for the best family-friendly products, parenting tips and resources in their community.
Voting runs through Aug. 15, and winners are announced Sept. 1.
In Forest Park, The Brown Cow ice cream parlor is nominated for Ice Cream/Froyo Shops. Vote here.
The Little Teeth Big Smiles dentist office in Forest Park is also nominated in the category for Family and Pediatric Dentists. Vote here.
In Oak Park, Gepetto's Toy Box is nominated for Toy and Book Stores. Vote here.
And Buzz Cafe in Oak Park is nominated twice—for Kid-Friendly Coffee Shops and Family Restaurant.
Other categories include local camps, parks, clothing stores and more.
