Pereira's answer was:

"Being a business owner, I built my business with a lot of hard work physically and mentally. But what always really stood out and kept on bringing people in is my personality and affinity to connect with people around me.

"I love spending time with my customers talking about anything they want. This is my biggest joy and self accomplishment in my day to day! Not to mention my true and real passion for the culinary world.

"Since I believe a good part of the job of the hostess is to keep the audience involved and help with the flow of the conversation among the guests, I think I would be a good fit, because that is what I have been doing with my customers."

Voting began Wednesday and goes until 11:59 pp.m. April 17. Only one vote is allowed per IP address, and additional votes from the same IP address will be disqualified.
