Big Easy comes to Oak Park

The Big Easy comes to Oak Park with New Orleans-style music, food and family fun to benefit West Suburban PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter).

The BS Brass Band, specializing in New Orleans and Mardi Gras party music and general over-the-top fun, will perform.

Family activities include face-painting, crafts and a children’s costume corner. Refreshments include snacks, desserts, beer, wine and soda.

The third annual benefit is sponsored by the Mystick Krewe of Laff Social Aid and Pleasure Club, a Chicago-area organization that promotes the art and culture of New Orleans and Louisiana.

All proceeds benefit West Suburban PADS, which provides shelter, supportive services and job readiness to individuals and families in west suburban Cook County.
