Why Go: Four of the ten nominees for Best Picture  — Winter's Bone (9 a.m.) , Toy Story 3 (10:55 a.m.) The Kids Are All Right (12:50 p.m.) and The Social Network (2:45 p.m.)  — will be screened, back to back to back to back. Plus, popcorn and movie trivia.

When/Where: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Oak Park, 820 Ontario Street. 
Why Go: Hosted by "Chicago's Gospel Sister" Pam Morris, the 11th Annual First Baptist Church of Oak Park Gospel Music Fest will feature food, fun and performances from Otis Clay, Victory Travelers, Vergia Towner Dishmon and the First Baptist Church of Oak Park's Sanctuary Choir, among others.

Why Go: Pay tribute to the late George Harrison with a 68th birthday party, complete with performances by the Harrison Street Ukulele Players and a belly dancing troupe.

Why Go: The bestelling author makes a stop in Oak Park promoting Love, Honor, and Betray, the latest installment of her Rev. Curtis Black series.
