Why Go: Wii games, board games and other all-ages fun at the library.

EXPLORATION STATION 
When/Where: 10 a.m. Saturday at the , 615 Garfield St.
Why Go: Every Saturday of each month, the Conservatory's staff highlights one of the facility's exotic species. The February topic? Sweet and spicy. 
Price: Free, with a $2 donation suggested

When/Where:  7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the , 220 N. Euclid Ave. in Oak Park. 
Why Go: It's a 1950s-style family dance party. What's not to like?

When/Where: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center.
Why Go: Browse more than 100 booths offering family-friendly products at the annual event. Activities include a petting zoo, inflatables, games, train rides and a mad science show

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELMO!

Why Go: It's a 3rd birthday party for the Sesame Street superstar, complete with music, stories and crafts. Parents take note: Elmo won't be appearing.
