James Anthony Salon, Surf's Up Coming to Oak Park

From walking around Oak Park and River Forest, we've noticed a few businesses that are coming, going and changing in the area. 

James Anthony Salon to Open in Downtown Oak ParkA Permission to Work sign was posted recently for James Anthony Salon in the window of the former Marion Street Gallery space at 115 N. Marion St. in downtown Oak Park. The River Forest salon is currently located at 7607 Lake St. A salon manager said she doesn't know when the Oak Park location will open.

Surf's Up Moving to Old Pasta Palazzo Space: A sign was posted recently in the window of the old Pasta Palazzo restaurant space at 314 Madison St. in Oak Park. Surf's Up, a creole/cajun restaurant located at 5815 Madison St. in Chicago, is expanding to a second location in Oak Park, with hopes to open by the end of the year. YoGo Station Closed for Repairs, Remodel: YoGo Station, 1000-D Lake St. in downtown Oak Park, is currently closed for repairs, upgrades and remodels, according to a sign recently posted in their window.

Oak Park Foot Clinic Moving to River ForestThe Downtown Oak Park Foot Clinic at 1000-B Lake St. is moving to River Forest. The new location will be 7351 Lake St., next to Panera Bread in River Forest.

Tilly's Opens in River Forest: Tilly's, a California-based surf and skate retailer, is now open in the River Forest Town Center. Tilly's sells clothing, shoes, and accessories in the surf, skate, motocross and lifestyle apparel industries, according to the company's website. For more information, go to www.tillys.com.
