Local Artist and Business Owner Finds Life Goes Full Circle

Chris Geoghegan is well known in the area as the owner and artist behind the stunning floral arrangements at Moss Modern Flowers in Forest Park.

Geoghegan was recently profiled in a story about her life in the Elm Leaves newspaper, based in Elmwood Park.

In the article, Geoghegan talks about her early life growing up in Long Island, NY, where she would take walks in the woods, go on family trips to the ocean and head to New York City with her grandmother on formative adventures at the city's museums and cultural attractions. She also discusses a tough move to Decatur, IL at 12 years old, and the task of starting up her business in Forest Park.
