Liquor Licenses Approved for Brunch Boutique, Fitness Center Cafe

Oak Park Village Board approves liquor licenses for OMG! Brunch and Boutique and Fitness Formula Club's Cafe Fresh.

The Oak Park Village Board on Monday approved liquor licenses for OMG! Brunch and Boutique, a brunch restaurant and boutique opening this summer and Fitness Formula Club's Cafe Fresh.

OMG! Brunch and Boutique, opening at 100 S. Oak Park Ave., will feature healthy "breakfast around the world" menu items, and sell artwork and clothing made by local artists, according to a village staff memo. 

The board approved a full liquor service license for OMG! Brunch and Boutique, where owner Mary-Moy Gregg plans to offer brunch cocktails.

According to the restaurant's website, "OMG! is devoted to introducing contemporary international breakfast and lunch, while carefully sourcing organic and hormone-free ingredients whenever possible."

Gregg expects open by the end of June or early July, according to the memo.

The board also approved a license for beer and wine service at Cafe Fresh, the restaurant available to Fitness Formula Club members at 1144 Lake St. Village records show the cafe has been open for about a year.
