More than 40 businesses in downtown Oak Park will be participating in the annual Shop Outdoor Sale this weekend.
Businesses in the Downtown Oak Park, The Avenue and Pleasant districts are joining forces to offer live entertainment, a free trolley service and special bargains.
The sale begins Thursday, July 18, running from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. It also runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. A free trolley service will shuffle shoppers between districts.
Downtown Oak Park’s Thursday Night Out event will kick off the Shop Outdoor Sale along with the Rolling Art on South Marion United Kingdom Car Show in the Pleasant District from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday will showcase a face painter, balloon artist and live jazz music.
