Still No Word on Future of Dominick's Spaces in Oak Park, River Forest
No updates on what will replace Dominick's stores in Oak Park and River Forest, village officials say.
There's still no word on what will replace the Oak Park and River Forest Dominick's stores, Oak Park Business Services Manager Loretta Daly and River Forest Assistant Village Administrator Lisa Scheiner said last week.
Dominick's, 259 Lake St. in Oak Park and 7501 North Ave. in River Forest, will close at 12 p.m. Dec. 28, when Safeway officially pulls out of the Chicago market.

Most merchandise is half off at the Dominick's stores as they clear the space before they close.
