On Wednesday, April 17, Lincoln Elementary School in Oak Park will serve as one of the stops for the "Endangered Authors!" national school tour. The tour was created by the Story Pirates, an education-oriented children’s theater troupe, in collaboration with the Penguin Young Readers Group and authors of books for middle-grade readers. Its game-show-inspired presentation gives kids the opportunity to save the "endangered" authors by correctly answering questions about their books. The authors participating in this year's tour are Curtis Jobling (Wereworld series), Adam Gidwitz (A Tale Dark & Grimm), Geoff Rodkey (The Chronicles of Egg) and Jacqueline West (The Books of Elsewhere).
