Three District 97 Schools Earn Academic Excellence Award

Three of District 97’s elementary schools—Hatch, Longfellow and Mann—earned an Academic Excellence Award from the Illinois State Board of Education. This award recognizes schools that have sustained very high academic performance, including having at least 90 percent of its students meet or exceed state standards in both reading and mathematics for at least three consecutive years.
