District 97 Seeking Members for Ad Hoc Dashboard/Benchmark Board Committee

District 97 is looking for dedicated individuals from the community who are interested in taking an active role in shaping the future of our schools by applying to serve in a voluntary capacity on our newly formed Ad Hoc Dashboard/Benchmark Board Committee.

The committee, which will meet on a monthly basis, will be comprised of members who have a wide array of interests and areas of expertise. It will aid the District 97 Board of Education in the creation of a dashboard/set of benchmarks that:

  • Align with the district’s vision, mission statement, beliefs, objectives and parameters.
  • Align to current academic research.
  • Are informed by dashboards being used or developed by District 200, District 90, the Collaboration for Early Childhood, the Oak Park and River Forest Community Foundation and the Illinois State Board of Education.
  • Focus on measures of student and staff activity.

The primary work of the committee will be to incorporate board priorities into its agenda. You can access the charge for the committee by visiting https://v3.boardbook.org/Public/PublicItemDownload.aspx?ik=34291086.

The Board of Education is currently seeking to fill several openings on the Ad Hoc Dashboard/Benchmark Board Committee. If you would like to be considered for membership, which is selected by the board, please send background information about yourself (resume, biography, etc.) to Chris Jasculca (cjasculca@op97.org) by Friday, September 27.
