WINE, CHOCOLATE & ARCHITECTURE AT UNITY TEMPLE
When/Where: Thursday, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Unity Temple, 875 Lake St. in Oak Park
Why go:
With gourmet wine and chocolate pairings from Marion Street Cheese Market and a jewelry show featuring the stylings of Kathy Reller Designs — all taking place against the candleit splendor of the Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece — the better question is why not go? 
Pricing:  $30 online; $37 at the door

Why go: It's free old-timey fun, complete with two performances recreating the live radio experience — sound effects, live actors and all.

SUNDAY FUNDAY KARAOKE
When/Where:  
Sunday, 7 p.m. to midnight at Velvet Rope Ultra Lounge, 728 Lake St. in Oak Park. 
Why go: The stylish, gay-friendly Lake Street Lounge is sure to bring out the bombast with $6 martinis and karaoke sessions hosted by singing server Dawn Marie. 
Price: No cover


When/Where: Sunday, 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Yoga Trek, 911 S. Lombard Ave. in Oak Park. 
Why go:  
Unwind from one long week at start another refreshed and ready. Instructors say the sessions are "appropriate for most people who have a little familiarity with yoga." 
Price: Free, with donations suggested
