New Therapeutic Day School Opens in Oak Park

Camelot Schools has announced the a new school for students with learning disabilities on North Avenue in Oak Park.

Camelot Schools has announced that its sixth suburban Chicago location has opened on North Avenue in Oak Park.

The new therapeutic day school, located on North Avenue, will serve students with specific learning disabilities, emotional needs and other health impairments to serve school districts in Oak Park and the surrounding area.

Camelot currently runs other schools in Hoffman Estates, Mt. Prospect, DeKalb, Naperville and Kankakee.

Area school districts can refer students from 5-21 years of age for its programs. In addition to educational curriculum, the school's features include, "job research and application and personal finance. Career guidance programs include college and trade school coordination and visits as well as assistance with entrance and financial applications."
