Rich and Single? Oak Park is Your Place

CNN 'Money' Magazine lists Oak Park as the ninth best place in America for rich singles.

According to a ranking published by CNN’s Money Magazine, Oak Park is the No. 9 best place to live in America if you're rich and single.

Of course, it's not the first time we've had our backs patted. In 2010, the Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District was named This year, Oak Park was named . 

Listing Oak Park's single population at 32.8 percent and median family income at $109,258, Money editors credit our (not always) humble village for its "vibrant community for theater, dance, music and the visual arts."

Topping Oak Park in the rankings were Boston suburbs Newton and Brookline; New York city’s “sixth borough,” Hoboken, NJ; D.C. suburb Arlington, VA; California’s Redondo BeachIrvine and Mountain View; riverfront Sandy Springs, GA and Baltimore suburb Towson, MD.
