Animal Care League 28th Annual Holiday Bazaar

Animal Care League’s 28th

Annual Holiday Bazaar – The Most Wonderful Time of The Year

Losing sleep over crowded malls and door-busters that go
bust?  No need to fret, you can be the
“Giver” that really delivers thanks to Animal Care League’s Annual Holiday
Bazaar.  On Friday, December 6, 3-9pm and
Saturday, December 7, 9am – 3pm, ACL’s hugely successful fundraising event will
be held at 6930 W. Roosevelt Road, Oak Park (across the street from Culvers).  If you visited last year, you’ll enjoy the
same large spaces for easy browsing and shopping, as well as ample parking.

Find out what's happening in Oak Park-River Forestwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Back for its 28th year, the Holiday Bazaar is well known for the wide array of gifts, home decorations, holiday décor, and crafts with all proceeds benefitting Animal Care League.  The two-day event takes months of preparations and attracts hundreds of shoppers.  Gifts for your loved ones (the two-legged and four-legged) are plentiful.  Shoppers can also enjoy baked goods, live music, massages from Stephanie Skrine and the opportunity to sign up for the famous basket raffle.  There will be a special “kids’ corner with fun and activities to keep them busy, so some “serious shopping” can get done.  Santa will be on hand Saturday from 10am – 2pm to pose for photos with children of all ages and animals of (almost) all sizes.  Pet intuitive Susan Francis from Harmonious Places and Pets will be doing readings on Saturday as well, also from 10am – 2pm.

Put this event on your December “Don’t Miss” list, and don’t let this year go by without a day of shopping that is easy on your wallet and comforting to your heart.  Give your elves the day off for this one, but wear your comfy shoes.
