Annual guided walking tour of Forest Home Cemetery brings history to life with actors who portray the residents of Forest Park, Oak Park and River Forest and other notables. This year's theme is "Parks, Preserves, and a Deadly Excursion" and tells the story of the Eastland disaster, the formation of the first parks in Oak Park a century ago, the start of the Cook County Forest Preserve District, the first quarterback of the Chicago Bears, and notable labor leaders Emma Goldman and Elizabeth Gurley Flynn.
