Forest Preserves of Cook County Nature Express to Nature Block Party
Don’t drive to the preserves … Take the Nature Express!
Come to the Forest Preserves Headquarters (Cummings Square at 536 N.
Harlem, River Forest, IL) by public transportation (Green Line; CTA
Harlem Bus #90 or PACE Bus #307 or #305) or park in our lot and we’ll
get you to the preserves for three special events. Reserve tickets at
the links below. Please reserve only the seats you need; up to five
seats can be reserved by a family or group on the Nature Express for
each event. Admission to the events and your seat on the Nature Express is FREE!

Discover the flora and fauna of the urban preserves with restoration
activities, bird hikes, tree hikes, biking and more. Nearby Powers
Recreation Area will be open for additional activities. Part of Urban
Biodiversity Week, May 11-18. More at urbanbioweek.illinois.gov.
Event runs from 12 – 4 pm
Leaves Cummings Square at 11:30 a.m.
Leaves Eggers Grove at 4 p.m.
