The Game of Love and Chance

Full of slamming doors, secret trysts and mistaken identities, Pierre Mariveaux's classic French comedy The Game of Love and Chance
centers on a young woman who switches places with her maid in order to
spy on the man she is slated to marry. Unbeknownst to the young woman,
the man has traded places with his butler in order to spy on her. What
follows is a comedy of mixed-up identities and employees taking
advantage of their employers. Performed in contemporary English, Open
Door Repertory Company's production is directed by Charlie Marie
McGrath, who returns after last season's staging of Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks.
