Who Are the Chicago
Imagists? 

Suellen Rocca, artist and curator of
Elmhurst College Art collection, will present and discuss the artists known as
the ‘Chicago Imagists’- a vibrant group of artists introduced in the 60’s. Most
of the artists were native to Chicago, in their late twenties, and current or
former Art Institute of Chicago students. One-third of the group were women, an
unusual percentage for the period.

$10 suggested donation, refreshments follow the program.
