You be the Critic presents "The Fugitive" at the Oak Park Arms

Oak Park Arms presents its popular series “You Be the Critic” at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Ave. The 1993 film “The Fugitive” will be viewed and reviewed with radio announcer Dan Kane.

When the wife of a well-respected Chicago surgeon, Dr. Richard Kimble (Ford), is murdered in her home, the doctor is arrested and charged. He is tried, convicted and sentence to death, but escapes when the bus taking him to prison is involved in an accident.

Now considered a fugitive, Kimble is hunted by Deputy Samuel Gerard (Jones) and his team as he starts his own investigation to find out who really killed his wife. As the authorities search for him, he leads them closer to the truth.

The Oak Park Arms is a rental retirement community which provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay - a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
