Halloween candy can contribute to tooth decay, and some candy can even damage orthodontic patients’ braces. Dr. Novick will help active patients of Novick Orthodontics avoid injury to their braces and their teeth by buying back their Halloween candy. Dr. Novick is paying $1.00 for each pound of Halloween treats surrendered in his office. Paying children for their Halloween candy helps them avoid the potential for harming their braces or teeth. It’s a fun way to reward the kids for their efforts on Halloween.
Dr. Novick is hopeful the candy buy-back program will cut down on orthodontic emergencies, yet help children, especially those wearing braces, enjoy the holiday.
The candy will be donated to our troops overseas!
