Literacy Volunteers Seeking New Volunteer Tutors

 Oak Park, Illinois- Literacy Volunteers Western Cook County will host its next Volunteer Tutor Training Workshop from 6 to 9 p.m. May 17 and 19 and from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. May 21 at the Berwyn Public Library on 2701 S. Harlem Avenue in Berwyn, IL.

Literacy Volunteers is a not-for-profit agency that trains volunteer tutors and matches them with an adult in need of literacy services.  No teaching or second language experience is required. Our comprehensive training will allow you to work with an English as a Second Language, Basic Reading or GED adult learner.
