Try One New Thing Everyday

This time of year, as the leaves start to fall, it get's dark early, and, we start to hibernate, it's easy to retreat into our homes and go about our routines. But, it can be much more satisfying and fulfilling, in many ways, to try one new thing everyday -- it can be something simple like making sure to say "thank you" or getting to know someone new, or, it can be crossing off a bigger item on your bucket list like traveling to a new place. Doing something new everyday can be good for the soul and good for your self confidence. It keeps you engaged, and, in general keeps you from feeling like you are stuck in a rut, or stuck in the winter doldrums. And, no matter what your age you can make it a point to try one thing new everyday !
