Chef Cat Cora Crashes & Causes Commotion

When the accident is not your fault, do you have what it takes to prove it?

Anyone can get into a car accident.  That is why it is important to be prepared in advance if the unexpected should happen.  When Iron Chef Cat Cora rear-ended a car in Santa Barbara, California last month the victim videotaped her response to the accident.  Apparently, he did not think anyone would believe he was rear-ended by a tipsy celebrity chef.  You can see the video for yourself on TMZ.com.

In the video, it seems that Iron Chef Cora is quite unhappy that “nerds” are recording her.  However, this is the least of her worries.  She was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.  She allegedly blew twice the legal limit and gave the world yet another celebrity mug shot.

Of course, I am not suggesting you videotape the person who rear-ends you and sell the evidence to TMZ.  However, it is actually a good idea to take photographs of the cars at the scene of an accident, especially if the accident is “complicated.” Taking photographs provides the police and the insurance companies with the information necessary to reconstruct the accident.  Back in the day, you were advised to keep a disposable camera at the handy.  Now, you can use your cell phone camera.  Just be sure to download the pictures for use on a later date!
