Letter: Elaine Zannis is the Strong, Conservative Voice Needed in DuPage County Government

Change begins at the local level, and Zannis will work to eliminate political waste and patronage.

Dave and I are urging all of our friends to get out to vote in the upcoming primary on March 20.

A good friend of ours, Elaine Zannis, is a candidate for DuPage County Board to fill one of three vacant positions.  We are urging you to vote for her because of her hard work ethic and her ability to stand up for the values which she believes in. She will work tirelessly to eliminate government waste and the double dipping pension corruption which exists in our state.  She is a voice unafraid to be heard in the “good ol' boys club.”

Elaine has worked with passion for the good of our community as a trustee for over six years and in numerous volunteer positions.  We believe she will bring her proven work ethic to the DuPage County Board and will uphold her values of conservatism and being a watchdog against political waste and patronage.

Change starts at the local level and we all need to be involved to turn this state around.

Thank you for your consideration.

Thomas, not only has she voted Democrat up until she decided to run for county board, but she is listed as a Democrat on the Democratic Municpal Officials webpage: http://www.nationaldmo.org/person/12156628/Elaine-Zannis.htm She also donated $$$ to Chicago Democrats like Lisa Madigan. Her donations can be verified on the board of elections webpage.

Well, if she is a Democrat, I might consider voting for her. The last thing we need are more Republicans who have spent years decimating our economy to favor the 1%.

What does the county board have to do with double-dipping STATE politicians and employees? Appeals to women resentful of the 'good 'ol boys club' is stale rhetoric What are her plans to improve DuPage?

Good Lord, If you eliminated every woman that donated $ to Lisa Madigan you'd be left with 175 females in the DuPage Republican Party. The real Democrat in this Republican primary race is Pension Pete DiCianni. He's got Oak Park Dem Pols introducing state legislation so he can douple-dip his pension as Mayor and CB member (He is the only Mayor in Elmhurst History to sign up for a pension). His campaign literature features Dems Dick Durbin and Jesse White. So who exactly is the Dem in GOP clothing???

This is important so I apologize for changing the subject, but I wanted to get it to as many readers as possible. Ron Sandack has come out with a Robo call stating he DID NOT endorse Pete DiCianni a/k/a: Mr. Pants on Fire. If you follow up with any number of officials he lists as his "endorsers" they will tell you he is full of it. Dennis Reboletti was shocked to discover he had "endorsed" Pete, as was Don Puchalski, Sen. Milner was also not amused. I still haven't been able to catch up with Abraham Lincoln, Gandhi or The Easter Bunny to verify whether they too have been listed with out their permission. Just be warned, when standing near Hizzoner his pants are in danger of spontaneous combustion. Please pass this info on to friends and neighbors before tomorrow's primary voting. Thank you - The Duke.
