$235 in Olive Oil Stolen at Whole Foods, TV and iPads Stolen: Police Blotter

River Forest police reports, May 22-29

WEDNESDAY, MAY 29  

Disorderly Conduct, Obstruction

Lisa Jones, 51, of the 500 block of Franklin Street in River Forest woman faces disorderly conduct and obstruction charges after she reportedly harassed and followed someone in the 7200 block of Lake Street on May 28, and then ran from police. Police said Jones was arrested at 9 a.m. Wednesday after she fled the scene and refused to cooperate with officers around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.    

TUESDAY, MAY 28, 2013    

TV, iPads Stolen

Someone forced open the front door of a home in the 300 block of Gale Avenue around 10:30 p.m. and steal a TV and three iPads. The total estimated loss is $1,300, police said.  

MONDAY, MAY 27  

Trespassing

Police charged Jamal Wright, 21, of Bellwood with trespassing after he was found with $2.75 that had been taken from a car around 7:40 p.m. in the 500 block of River Oaks Drive.    

SUNDAY, MAY 26  

Felony Retail Theft: $235 in Olive Oil Stolen

Police charged Timothy Miller, 54, of Chicago with felony retail theft for stealing $235 in olive oil from Whole Foods, 7245 W. Lake St. around 2:15 p.m.  

Cell Phone, Jewels Stolen

Someone broke into a home in the 1400 block of William Street between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. and stole jewelry and a cell phone. Police said a suspicious white SUV and two people in hoodies were seen in the area just before the burglary. The total estimated loss is $600, police said.    

SATURDAY, MAY 25  

Retail Theft: $14 in Vitamins

Police charged Waldemar and Lucyna Repec, both 58, of Melrose Park with misdemeanor retail theft for stealing $14 in vitamins from Whole Foods, 7245 W. Lake St. around 8:30 p.m.  

WEDNESDAY, MAY 22  

Bike Stolen

Someone stole an unlocked bike from a rack outside the Christopher Center at Concordia University between 7 and 11 a.m.
