Someone broke the front passenger window to break into a van in the 900 block of South Humphrey Avenue and stole 10 coats and 16 leather wallets between 9 p.m. Sept. 29 and 8 a.m. Sept. 30. Chicago Teen Caught Trying to Steal Phone
Police charged a 14-year-old Chicago male with theft after an employee at a coffee shop in the 100 block of Harrison Street saw him steal a cell phone and try to leave the business about 7:35 p.m. He was processed and released to his parents.Marijuana Arrest at OPRFHS
Police charged a 17-year-old Oak Park male with marijuana possession about 12:20 p.m. at Oak Park and River Forest High School. He was given a local ordinance citation after police found two grams of marijuana in his possession and released to his parents.Bikes Stolen

Someone stole an iPod Touch from a teen's gym locker at Oak Park and River Forest High School between 11 and 11:10 a.m. The total estimated loss is $300, police said.Car Scratched
