Sunday, January 12

Phone, Watch, Cash Stolen From Locker

Someone stole an iPhone, a watch and a wallet containing $200 and credit cards from a locker in the 1100 block of Lake Street between 10:50 and 11:15 a.m. The total estimated loss is $619, police said. 

Coins Stolen From Car

Someone stole $2 in coins from an unlocked car in the 1100 block of Lyman Avenue between midnight and 10 a.m. 

Saturday, January 11

DUI

Police charged Robert Yuro, 37, of the 200 block of South Oak Park Avenue with driving under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop in the 700 block of Washington Boulevard around 3:50 a.m. 

Man Steals Frozen Dinner, Beer

Someone stole a frozen dinner and a six-pack of beer from Pan's Foods on Oak Park Avenue around 8:40 a.m. 

Ice Thrown at Window

Someone threw a large piece of ice at the front window of a home in the 300 block of Washington Boulevard around 6 a.m. The total estimated loss is $100, police said. 

Wallet Stolen

Someone stole a wallet containing $200, $100 Canadian dollars, a debit card and IDs from a purse in the 1100 block of Lake Street between 6 and 8:15 p.m. The total estimated loss is $400, police said. 

Vandalism

Someone damaged glass doors with a rock in the 500 block of South Harvey Avenue around 3:15 a.m. 

Friday, January 10 

$7,000 in Electronics Stolen in Burglary

Someone stole two iPads, an iPod, a TV and two laptops from a home in the 1000 block of Hayes Avenue between 8:15 a.m. and 1 p.m. The total estimated loss is $7,000, police said. 

Social Security Card Stolen

Someone stole a social security card from a home in the 800 block of South Taylor Street between 8:45 a.m. and 2 p.m. 

Thursday, January 9

Wallet Stolen From Gym Locker

Someone stole a wallet containing credit cards and cash from a gym locker in the 1100 block of Lake Street between 8:10 and 9:50 p.m. The total estimated loss is $70, police said.
