Another Armed Robbery Reported on Humphrey: Police
Police report a second armed robbery on Humphrey Avenue this week in Oak Park

Two days after an armed man robbed a pizza delivery person on North Humphrey Avenue in Oak Park, another man reported he was robbed by a man with a gun just blocks away Wednesday night, police said Thursday.
Police said the offender, about 20, approached the victim from behind in the 800 block of North Humphrey Avenue about 7:20 p.m. and asked to borrow his cell phone. The offender then brandished a handgun and told the victim to empty his pockets. The man stole the victim's wallet, $20 and an iPhone. He was last seen getting into a large brown or gray car with tinted windows that traveled north on Austin Boulevard from Thomas Avenue. The total estimated loss is $470, police said.
The robbery reported Monday occurred in the 500 block of North Humphrey Avenue about 10 p.m. Police said a teen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt confronted a pizza delivery person, pulled a gun and demanded the man give him "everything he had." The offender took the victim's cell phone and $90 and ran, police said. The total estimated loss is $290, police said.
