Bike, Golf Clubs Taken in Garage Burglaries

River Forest police reports, April 4-5.

FRIDAY, APRIL 5

Residential Burglary

Jewelry and a video system were stolen from a home on the 800 block Keystone Ave. after it was broken into sometime between 8:30 p.m. on April 5 and 11 a.m. on April 6. There was no signs of forced entry and the homeowner believes the offenders used the security code.

Garage Burglaries

A bike was stolen from an unlocked garage in the 1300 block of Monroe. Police said the burglary occured between Feb. 1 and March 31.

Another garage was burglarized in the 500 block of Thatcher between April 1 and April 3. The garage door was open at the time, and a set of golf clubs was taken.
