Tuesday, November 12

Trespassing Arrest 

Police charged Daniel Wedrall, 49, of Chicago, with trespassing in the 500 block of South Maple Avenue about 3:30 a.m. Wedrall was also arrested for battery on Nov. 10 after he kicked a woman in the chest  on Harlem Avenue when she refused to give him money. 

Vandalism

Someone broke a glass window pane on a door at Calvary Memorial Church, 931 Lake St., between 7:35 p.m. Nov. 11 and 5:50 a.m. Nov. 12. The estimated cost of damage is $100, police said. 

Invalid License, Expired Registration

Police charged Johnny Bronson, 56, of Chicago, with driving without a valid license and expired registration in the 1100 block of South Austin Boulevard about 9:40 a.m. 

Monday, November 11

Backpack Stolen

Someone stole a backpack containing $35, a Leatherman tool, restaurant gift cards, two blue lab coats and a wireless doorbell from an unlocked car in the 200 block of South Ridgeland Avenue between 7 p.m. Nov. 10 and 6:45 a.m. Nov. 11. The total estimated loss is $995, police said. 

Projector Stolen From Car

Someone stole an LCD projector from an unlocked car in the 200 block of South Ridgeland Avenue between 7 p.m. Nov. 10 and 9:30 a.m. Nov. 11. The total estimated loss is $250, police said. 

Vandalism

Someone broke the driver's side headlight and molding on a 2006 Volvo parked in the 900 block of South Boulevard between 8 p.m. Nov. 10 and 9:30 a.m. Nov. 11. The estimated loss is $200, police said. 

Window Broken

Someone damaged a basement door and broke a window at a home in the 200 block of South Cuyler Avenue between 9 p.m. Nov. 10 and 2 p.m. Nov. 11. The estimated cost of damage is $150, police said. 

Sunday, November 10

Car Damage at OPRFHS

Someone jumped on the hood of a 2004 Honda parked in the 200 block of North Scoville Avenue (OPRFHS), causing about $500 in damages between 10 and 10:30 p.m. 

Saturday, November 9

Public Urination Arrest

Forest Park police charged Samuel Watson, 29, of Oak Park, with public urination after they saw him urinating behind a dumpster near the intersection of Berkhardt Court and Madison Street about 2:20 a.m. Police said Watson said, "Sorry, sorry!" when he saw police and immediately zipped up his pants. He was given a Jan. 7 court date and released. 

DUI

Forest Park police charged Tshoma Guyton, 24, of Chicago with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage during a traffic stop near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Lathrop Avenue about 1:30 a.m. Guyton told police he had some moscato wine, a tequila shot and some beer. His blood alcohol content was .149, police said. He was given a Dec. 17 court date and released on bond. 

Friday, November 8

Retail Theft Arrest

Police charged Hunter Campbell, 18, of Oak Park, with retail theft after stole Nyquil from CVS, 7216 Ave., about 11:20 a.m. A store employee told police Campbell put the Nyquil in his sleeve and left the store without paying. He was given a Jan. 14 court date and released from the scene. 

Man Punches CTA Conductor

Police charged Elvin Perez-Santiago, 29, with battery after he punched a CTA train conductor in the face about 2:30 a.m. The conductor told police Perez-Santiago, who was highly intoxicated, hit him after he tried to wake him when the train stopped in Forest Park, police said. He was processed, given a Dec. 24 court date and released and transported to Loyola Hospital. 

Wednesday, November 6

Chicago Man Who Stole 17 Lotion Bottles Found With Crack Pipe

Forest Park police charged Roderick Davis, 35, of Chicago, with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after he stole 17 bottles of lotion from CVS, 7216 Circle Ave., about 5:15 p.m. Police said Davis, who was wanted on a warrant out of Kane County for possession of a controlled substance, had a crack pipe in his pocket. He was held on bond. 

Monday, November 4

Man Steals Snowblower He Found on Sidewalk

Police charged Claude Turner, 46, of Chicago, with theft of lost property after he took a snowblower that was on the sidewalk next to a car wash at the intersection of Roosevelt and Marengo avenues about 4:15 a.m. He was processed and held on bond.
