Burglary to Ice Cream Trucks

Frozen treats stolen.

Fifteen boxes of ice cream treats were stolen from a trio of Good Humor trucks parked behind .

The theft took place sometime between Aug. 28 and Aug. 29. Investigators say the bandit or bandits broke the front plastic passenger window of one of the trucks parked behind the building at 250 1/2 Chicago Ave.

Entry was gained to the other two vehicles by forcing down the passenger windows. In all, police the stolen ice cream was valued at $350.
