Juvenile Charged With Defacing Property

A 17-year-old from Chicago was charged with criminal defacement of property in the 100 block of Madison Street at about 7:30 a.m. The juvenile was issued a December court date and was held pending bond.

Theft Arrest

George A. Fox, 35, of the 300 block of Geneva in Bellwood, was arrested and charged with theft in the 1600 block of north Normandy in Chicago at about 12:40 p.m. Fox was issued a court date in January and released on bond.

Catalytic Converter Stolen

A postal worker reported to police that they saw two men stealing the catalytic converter from a Riverside resident's car parked in the 500 block of Wesley at about 11:40 a.m. The estimated loss was $1,800.

Registration Sticker Stolen

An Oak Park resident told police that the registration sticker on their car was stolen while parked in the 300 block of south Maple between 4 p.m. Dec. 5 and 9 a.m. Dec. 6. The estimated loss was $20.

Toy Stolen

A man was reportedly seen on video surveillance removing a Knight's Castle Play Mobile Toy from the 900 block of south Oak Park Avenue at 4:12 p.m. The man was last seen getting on a Pace bus traveling south on Oak Park Avenue. The estimated loss was $200.

TUESDAY, NOV. 27

Packages Stolen

An Oak Park resident reported to police that someone removed unattended packages from the vestibule area of their home in the 200 block of Clinton. The estimated loss was $177.33.

SUNDAY, NOV. 25

Credit Cards Stolen

An Oak Park resident reported that their Visa and Master Card credit cards were stolen from their wallet between Nov. 15 and 25. The victim believed they were stolen in the 800 block of Scoville and were then used at Super Target in Broadview for an estimated loss of $901.82.
