Diamond Jewelry, Computers Stolen in XMas Eve and Day Break-Ins

Someone entered a home in the 900 block of North Blvd. between noon and 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 24 through an unlocked balcony door and stole a diamond bracelet and cash. Loss is estimated at $6,500.

Someone entered a home in the 1100 block of S. Lombard between 3:30 and 11:15 p.m. Dec. 24 by unknown means and stole various items, including a diamond ring, gold watch, computers, camera and bed spread.
Someone forced open the back door of a home in the 1100 block of Wenonah between 4 and 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 25 and stole jewelry and a laptop. The bedroom was also ransacked. Loss is estimated at $1,700.
