Oak Park police reports, June 19-20

THURSDAY, JUNE 20

Woman Stuffs Bag in Old Navy Dressing Room, Arrested for Theft

Police arrested Tyesha Kimbrough, 23, of Chicago with retail theft after she allegedly stuffed a bag full of about $160 in clothes in an Old Navy dressing room around 12:40 p.m. She was charged and released on bond.

DUI

Police charged Eric Eichinger, 31, of the 500 block of Harrison Street in Oak Park with driving under the influence of alcohol around 5:40 p.m. in the 600 block of South Euclid Avenue. Eichinger, who had glassy eyes and smelled of booze, told police he hit another car after it had cut him off. He was released on bond. 

Warrant: Suspended License

Police charged Marvin Rogers, 52, of Chicago with a warrant for driving on a suspended license while he was applying for a chauffeur's license at the Oak Park Police Department around 11:30 a.m. 

Car Damage

Someone damaged a door frame in the 500 block of South Scoville Avenue with a pry tool between 8 a.m. June 18 and noon June 20. The estimated cost of damage is $150, police said. 

Electronics Stolen From Unlocked Car

Someone stole a GPS unit, a flashlight, two Bluetooth ear pieces and $10 in change from an unlocked car in the 900 block of Clinton Avenue between 10:30 p.m. June 19 and 6 a.m. June 20. The total estimated loss is $152, police said. 

Bike Thefts

  • Someone stole a bike and its lock from a rack in the 400 block of South Ridgeland Avenue between 9:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. The total estimated loss is $430, police said. 
  • Someone stole a bike and its lock in the 200 block of South Oak Park Avenue between 8 p.m. June 19 and noon June 20. The total estimated loss is $220, police said. 
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19

Bike Thefts

  • Someone stole a $300 bike between 8:15 a.m. and 11 p.m. in the 900 block of South Oak Park Avenue. 
  • Someone stole a $500 bike from a rack in the 500 block of North Harvey Avenue between 5 p.m. June 18 and 2:30 p.m. June 19. 
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12

Neck Pillow Stolen

Someone stole a package containing a neck pillow from the common area of an apartment in the 400 block of South Home Avenue between 3:55 and 5 p.m. The total estimated loss is $19.99, police said.
