Saturday, January 18

Marijuana Possession

Police charged Terry Dudley, 20, of Chicago, with marijuana possession during a traffic stop near the intersection of Harlem and Central avenues around 2 a.m. Police said he had seven grams of marijuana in his possession. 

Friday, January 17

DUI

Police charged Seth Molek, 23, of the 500 block of South Cuyler Avenue in Oak Park with driving under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop near the intersection of Augusta and Harlem avenues around 3 a.m. His blood alcohol content (BAC) was .153, police said. 

Thursday, January 16

Man Turns Himself in for Liquor Theft

Police charged Jeffrey Frazier, 42, of Chicago, with retail theft after he stole seven bottles of liquor from Jewel, 7525 W. Lake St. on Jan. 12. Police said Frazier turned himself in to police around 7:20 p.m. Jan. 16.

Electronics Stolen

Someone stole a camera and two laptops from a home in the 0-100 block of Ashland Avenue sometime between 8 and 11:50 a.m.

Laptop Stolen From Car

Someone stole a $2,300 laptop from a car parked in the River Forest Town Center parking lot around 10:20 a.m. 

Men Try to Use Fake IDs to Exchange Gift Cards for Cash

Police charged Sebastian Sawala, 28, and William Bucaro, 29, both of Elk Grove Village, with felony possession of fake identification after they gave "altered" Illinois IDs in an attempt to exchange gift cards for cash at Jewel, 7525 W. Lake St., around 6:40 p.m.

Sunday, January 12

Warrant, Resisting, Obstructing

Police charged Rudy Funes, 27, of Bensenville, with a warrant out of DuPage County for driving under the influence of alcohol, obstructing identification and resisting arrest after a hit and run accident near the intersection of Harlem Avenue and Lake Street around midnight. Police said Funes, the passenger in the vehicle, tried to run from the scene and was taken into custody after he resisted arrest and provided false information to police. The driver of the vehicle was transferred to Oak Park police for further investigation, police said. 

Saturday, January 11

Package Stolen From Porch

Someone stole a package containing more than $300 in clothes from a porch in the 800 block of Franklin Avenue around 12:15 p.m. 

Thursday, January 8

Warrant: Suspended License

Police charged Alex Ceballos, 26, of Melrose Park, with a warrant out of Broadview for driving on a suspended license around 12:20 a.m.
