I wonder if he was hoping the answer was 'yes'

He tried to pump gasoline into his car but appeared to be having trouble maintaining his balance and had to lean against his car for support, according to the report. Police approached him and said he showed impairment on field sobriety tests and placed Fleming in the back of the squad car, at which point he asked, "Am I on 'Cops?'" He was charged with DUI.

Truth revealed through bad grammar

Niles police observed a 33-year-old Des Plaines woman driving 64 mph in a 35 mph zone and go through a red light at 11:58 p.m., they said. When pulled over, she told police she was just trying to get to a store before it closed at midnight. While the officer was writing her a ticket, she was on the phone yelling at someone.

Police asked her to perform field sobriety tests, on which she showed impairment. During the tests, she said, "I'm not drunk, I ain’t under no influence." She was charged with DUI.

But baby it's cold outside

Police said a Niles store security agent saw a 29-year-old Des Plaines woman take a pair of men's thermal underwear, place it in a bag and exit the store without paying. Security agents said she had previously processed a customer return, which generated a gift card for $76.45, which she kept for herself and used. She used her employee ID number, which allowed security to track the activity.

The alternate theory on Frosty's demise
