Family of Young Women Killed on Eisenhower Speak Out

'It's so unfair,' one of the victim's aunts says, in describing the death of the women, 19 and 20, who were struck by a driver police say was drunk and entered I-290 the wrong way.

The family and friends of two young women killed this weekend by a driver going the wrong way on I-290 near Oak Park gathered to talk about their loved ones and demand a harsher charge for the driver accused of being drunk when he entered the Eisenhower in the wrong lane.

Monica Hernandez, 20, of Maywood, and Briana Resto, 19, of Northlake, were killed in the crash Saturday. A third woman was injured. Miguel Rico, 20, of Chicago, has been charged with DUI.

In the video above, Resto and Hernandez' family describe their heartbreak at the loss.
