Feces Smeared on Windshield, DUI for Man Sleeping in Car: Police

Other recent Oak Park police reports include warrant arrests for a felony theft at Radio Shack in June, DUI, marijuana and more.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30

Warrant: DUI, Suspended License

Police charged Johnny Winston, 22, of Maywood, with a warrant out of DuPage County for driving on a suspended license and driving under the influence of alcohol about 3:40 a.m. in the 300 block of Wisconsin Avenue. He was processed and released on bond. 

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29

Feces Smeared on Windshield

Someone smeared feces and flour on the front windshield of a work vehicle parked in the 400 block of South Grove Avenue between 6 p.m. Sept. 28 and 6 a.m. Sept. 29.

Aggravated DUI for Man Sleeping at the Wheel

Police charged Obdulio Sanchez-Guzman, 24, of Chicago, with aggravated DUI after they found him sleeping at the wheel of his running car in the 1200 block of West Division Street about 6:30 p.m.

Police said they also found open beer in the car. Sanchez-Guzman, who was driving on a revoked license, was transported to Oak Park Hospital for evaluation and released. He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, Oct. 4.

Bike, Locks Stolen From Garage

Someone stole a men's bike and two locks from an unlocked garage in the 700 block of South Harvey Avenue between 5 p.m. Sept. 28 and 8 a.m. Sept. 29. The total estimated loss is $900, police said. 

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28

Warrant: Marijuana Possession

Police charged Desiree Peete, 21, of Chicago, with a warrant for marijuana possession with intent to deliver about 6:30 p.m. She was processed and released on bond.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27

Felony Charge for Woman Connected to Radio Shack Theft 

Police charged Tyshonna Blades, 22, of South Bend, IN, with felony theft for a theft at Radio Shack, 914 Madison St., on June 27. She was arrested on a warrant in South Bend about 7:10 p.m. and held on bond.

Laptop Stolen From Office

Someone broke into an office in the 200 block of Madison Street and stole an HP Envy laptop between 5 p.m. Sept. 26 and 7 a.m. Sept. 27. The total estimated loss is $800, police said. 

Warrant: Phone Harassment

Police charged Aaron Nickelson, 25, of the 900 block of North Harvey Avenue in Oak Park with a warrant out of Chicago for phone harassment. He was arrested at his home about 4:15 p.m. and taken to Chicago police.
