Former OPRF Student Gets 6 Years in Prison for Dealing Coke
Pawel Borowski-Beszta faces a six-year prison sentence for felony manufacturing and cocaine delivery, Oak Leaves reports.
A former Oak Park and River Forest High School student was sentenced to six years in prison after he pleaded guilty to felony manufacturing and cocaine delivery, the Oak Leaves reported Thursday.
Pawel Borowski-Beszta was charged in August 2011 after police found a .40-caliber handgun, ammunition and two safes containing 126 grams of marijuana, 29.7 grams of cocaine, $1,000 in cash, a money counting machine and scales in an apartment in the 0-100 block of Harrison Street.
Authorities also recovered more than 25 iPods and iPhones and 148 scientific calculators at the apartment.
Borowski-Beszta will serve the sentence consecutively with three-year sentences for theft from a school and other drug-related charges.
