WEDNESDAY, NOV. 7

Domestic Battery Arrest

Kabrina Mitchell-Halls, 20, of the 0-100 block of Chicago Avenue, was arrested and charged with domestic battery in the 0-100 block of Chicago Avenue at about 1:26 a.m., police reported. Mitchell-Halls was held for a bond hearing.

TUESDAY, NOV. 6

Juvenile Arrested for Trespassing

A male juvenile from Oak Park was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to property at about 5:09 p.m. at the Oak Park Public Library. The juvenile was taken into custody, processed and released to a parent.

Felon Arrested on Gun Charge

Paul J. Bertolino, 40, of the 1500 block of Columbia Court in Elk Grove, was arrested and charged for possession of a firearm by a felon and with leaving the scene of an accident at about 12:15 p.m. in the 1500 block of Austin Boulevard, police reported. He was held for a bond hearing.

SUNDAY, NOV. 4

TV, Radio Stolen From Car

An Oak Park resident reported to police that between 6 p.m. on Nov. 3 and 8:20 a.m. on Nov. 4, someone broke into their car parked on the 900 block of south Oak Park Avenue using a pry-type tool. Once inside a radio and a 15-inch television monitor was stolen for an estimated loss of $700.

Man Arrested on Weapons Charge

Reginald A. Pasley, 55, of the 500 block of Washington was arrested and charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm without a Firearm Owners Identification card at about 2:30 p.m. on the 500 block of Washington. He was taken to the station and held in lieu of bond.

MONDAY, NOV. 3

Man Arrested for Theft

Brian K. Dobynes, 43, of the 1300 block of north Parkside in Chicago, was arrested and charged with theft after he was found in possession of stolen property, police reported. Dobynes was arrested at about 11:51 a.m. in the 300 block of north Ridgeland and held in lieu of bond.

Fugitive From Texas Arrested

Manuel Contreras Jr. 37, of the 500 block of north Des Plaines in Chicago, was arrested on an active Dallas County, TX warrant for forgery in the 6500 block of Roosevelt Road at about 3:47 p.m.

THURSDAY, NOV. 1

Man Arrested After Threatening Victim With Knife

Antoine C. Allen, 52, of the 200 block of south Marion was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after he yelled and threatened an Oak Park resident with a knife, police reported. Allen was arrested in the 200 block of Marion at about 9:11 p.m. and held in lieu of bond.

Trespassing Arrest

Francois A. Garand, 38, of the 300 block of north Grove, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to property at about 7:45 a.m. in the 200 block of north Scoville. Garand was later released on bond with a court date.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 31

Domestic Battery Arrest

Ronex K. Mutesha, 53, of the 400 block of south Humphrey was arrested and charged with domestic battery at about 9:25 p.m. in the 400 block of south Humphrey. He was processed and held for a bond hearing.

Halloween Robberies Reported

An Oak Park Juvenile was attacked and robbed in the 0-100 block of Lake Street at about 8:15 p.m. A group of offenders wearing dark clothing knocked him to the ground and kicked him before stealing his skateboard, book bag and hat. The estimated loss was $170.

An Oak Park resident told police that about 11:50 a.m. on the 200 block of west Jackson, two men described as about 19 years old, black of medium build and one wearing a dark sweater and jeans and other wearing a light colored jacket approached the victim and stole their cell phone by force. The two men then ran to a brown car and fled south on Lombard. The estimated loss was $200.

An Oak Park resident reported that at about 11:45 a.m. in the 700 block of south Grove, a man described as black, of average build and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt approached her and grabbed her purse off her arm. The man fled on foot headed south of Grove. The purse contained cash, an Illinois State ID card, a checkbook and other miscellaneous items. The loss was estimated at $42.

Driving with a suspended License

James M. Hines Jr., 34, of the 7400 block of Dixon in Forest Park, was arrested and later charged with driving with a suspended license at about 9:20 a.m. on the 200 block of Chicago, police said. Further investigation by police found that Hines was wanted on an active warrant out of Evergreen Park for the same offense. Hines was issued two court dates and later released on bond.
