Chicago Man Charged With Aggravated Assault: Oak Park Police Blotter

TUESDAY, JAN. 15
Aggravated Assault
Graviela C. Guajardo, 32, of the 2600 block of north Menard in Chicago, was charged with aggravated assault at about 1:31 p.m. in the 6400 block of North Avenue after he threatened an employee at a store, police said. He was processed and later released on bond.
Burglary Reported
An Oak Park resident reported to police that their garage in the 1000 block of south Euclid was entered through an unlocked service door. Stolen were a juicer, a sandwich maker, baking pans and a portable heater. The estimated loss was $780.

iPhone Stolen
An Oak Park juvenile reported that someone stole his iPhone 4S from his backpack around 8:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of Lake Street. The estimated loss was $200.

Gym Bag, DVD Player Stolen
An Oak Park resident reported a burglary from their vehicle to police around 5 p.m. in the 700 block of south Kenilworth. Stolen were a DVD player and a gym bag. The bag was later recovered in a nearby alley. The total loss was estimated at $400.
SATURDAY, JAN. 12
Rocks Break Window
Rocks were thrown at a window in the 800 block of North Boulevard overnight between Jan. 11-12. The estimated damage was $400.

Spare Tire Stolen
A Westchester resident told police that the spare tire from underneath his vehicle was stolen while parking in the 400 block of Lake Street between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. The estimated loss was $150.
