If This Wendy's Employee Wanted More Time Off, Hitting With a Cop Will Do the Trick
The Wendy's employee who allegedly struck an Oak Park police officer Monday morning has been charged with aggravated battery and resisting an officer. 
According to the Chicago Tribunethe employee, Gregory Robinson, 20, of Chicago, hit an officer who responded to a fight between the employee and a manager over schedules about 7 a.m. Monday. Robinson was processed and held on bond. 

Thief Stocks Up on Cat Food and TP
Someone stole a bike, a CD player, cat food, two toilet tissues, two Ziploc freezer bags and bounty paper towels from an unlocked garage in the 500 block of Lyman Avenue between 6 p.m. Nov. 1 and 10 p.m. Nov. 4. The total estimated loss is $501, police said.

Man Blocks Traffic to Urinate on North Avenue (He Couldn't Even Find an Alley, or a Bush?)
Jose Cortez-Angeles, 40, of Chicago, was arrested for DUI after police saw him urinating outside a vehicle that was obstructing traffic in the roadway in the 8000 block of North Avenue about 1 a.m. Oct. 27

Cortez-Angeles was pulled over in the 7700 block of North Ave. Police said his blood alcohol content was .151.

Because of his suspended license, and a warrant out of DuPage County for driving on a suspended license, Cortez-Angeles was charged with felony driving while license suspended and misdemeanor DUI. 

How 'Bout Them Apples?
Patrick Dunn, 22, of Wheaton, was arrested at Whole Foods Market, 7245 W. Lake St., after he stole $8 in gala apples about 5 p.m. He was charged with misdemeanor retail theft. 

Woman Steals $245 in Baby Formula
A Dominick's security officer saw a woman in her 30s steal 14 containers of Enfamil baby formula from the store and leave in a red Buick driven by a man in a dark jacket and a skull cap about 2 p.m. Nov. 1. The total estimated loss is $245, police said.

Bike Falling From the Sky—or the Neighbor's Yard
A woman in the 900 block of Arlington Avenue reported someone threw a bike over her fence about 9 p.m.

Woman Reports Dog That Wasn't Looking Good
A woman reported a black dog that was tied to a fire hydrant in front of 100 W. Burlington Ave. about 9:15 a.m. and “did not look good.”

Man Spits on Cab Driver
A cab driver reported a 34-year-old La Grange man who spit on him in the 100 block of Sawyer Avenue about 8 p.m. Nov. 1. Police told the man to pay his fare.

Repeat Screamer Reported
A woman reported a man who was screaming in the parking lot of Trader Joe’s about 9 a.m. Oct. 31. She told police he was also screaming in the lot a few days earlier, police said.
