Man Charged in 2011 Murder of Cop at Austin Blvd. Store
Third man charged for his role in the 2011 murder of a Chicago Police Officer during a robbery at a convenience store on the Oak Park-Chicago border, Oak Leaves reports.
A 25-year-old man is being held in Cook County Jail without bond for his alleged role in the 2011 murder of Chicago Police Officer Clifton Lewis, Oak Leaves reported Saturday.
According to the paper, Villa was charged Friday after two other men involved in the shooting implicated him in the murder, which took place during a convenience store robbery at M&M Quick Foods, 1201 N. Austin Blvd., on the Oak Park-Chicago border.
